I went to Germany for work last week and on my way out of Hamburg could not resist the chance to look for some Artdeco Cosmetics in the duty-free shop, and my search was rewarded as I found a fully-stocked display of the brand’s excellent makeup products.
I was personally interested in the eyeshadows as I already have quite a few and the quality is great. Artdeco eyeshadows are sold as single magnetic pans and are designed to be used with the brand’s palette system (they are too thick to fit regular freeform palettes – I’ve tried). The German company is also known for its eyeshadow base, an affordable alternative for those unwilling to spend too much on primers.
The display also included some value sets, which could be travel exclusive but I’m not sure as I’m not familiar with the brand’s offering in local markets. These included a waterproof mascara and pencil eyeliner duo (priced at €11.90), a Perfect Definition set including mascara and felt-tip eyeliner (€16.90) a kit with blush and palette (€13.90) and some mineral cosmetics sets (the most expensive costimg €15.50). I have included pictures of a few of them at the bottom of this post.
